The Sumatran Tiger is a subspecies of tigers that is very close to being extinct. This tiger is the most vulnerable of the six tiger subspecies that are still surviving, in the last century two other subspecies died out to being hunted, they were the Bali and Java Tiger. These animals have been hunted for years and in the wild there are estimated to be 400 to 500 left. These animals are becoming extinct because their habitat is being taken away from them or they are being hunted for their fur and bones. These creatures are nearly extinct and cannot do anything about it, but we the people can. We can sign petitions, and for the people over in Asia where these beautiful creatures are located can create awareness to the endangerment to these animals.

The website above is a petition made to save the forests where these animals live. By signing up this is a step towards change and a way to help the cause get better, rather than doing nothing and watching these animals go extinct.
